A Growing Community

In 2017, the Oakland Heights Baptist Church’s Strategic Planning Team shaped the future vision of our church community. This mission is set to include a future home for OHBC in north Longview. 

In early 2018, our Property Acquisition Team began to search for that location.  This team, which includes, Mark Smith, Joncie Young, Steve Pirtle and Ronnie McKinney has spent countless hours praying, surveying, and investigating where God is leading Oakland Heights to purchase land in north Longview.
