Our Beliefs

We Believe

The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, recorded by messengers who were guided by the Holy Spirit. We therefore believe the Bible to be without error.

2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:18-19

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

GEnesis 1:1-2, 26-27; Luke 3:21-22; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:10

We believe in the deity of Christ Jesus and His position as the second member of the Trinity, the Son of God. We believe He will one day return.

Luke 3:21-22; John 1:14

All people were created by God to have fellowship with Him, but through sinful disobedience became alienated from God.

Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3; Psalm 139:14

Salvation is the free gift of God available to people by faith alone. Salvation is the reconciliation of people to God through the death and resurrection of Christ. We believe in the eternal security of the believer.

Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 John 5:11-13

We believe in the reality of heaven (to be eternally in union with God) and hell (to be eternally separated from God).

John 3:16, John 14:1-3, Revelation 20; 1 John 2:25; 1 John 5:11-13

We believe in the necessity of Christian living through obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God.

John 14:15; Ephesians 2:8-10; Ephesians 4:17-32; Galatians 6:9-10; Romans 12:1,2

The church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus is the Head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.

Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:25
