Plan a visit
If it's your first time at Oakland Heights Baptist Church, you are our honored guest. We want to make sure your first visit is a great experience, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your trip.
Where do I go when I get there?
As you arrive at Oakland Heights Baptist Church, you will find reserved parking just for you on the northwest corner of our lot. From there you can enter through the main entrance that faces Judson Road.
Our greeting team will be there ready to say hello, and point you in the right direction. Right inside the main doors you will see the entrance to the Sanctuary, restrooms, as well as a guest information table. If you need anything throughout the morning, please visit the guest information table, and we will help you out.
How long is the service?
Our services typically last about an hour and 15 minutes. We sing three to four songs, greet one another, and then one of our pastors preaches.
If you want to see what our preaching style is, you can check out our recent sermons.
If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll want to give yourself a few extra minutes to stop by our guest information table after the service. We want to meet you and answer any questions you have about our church. We also have a free gift for you.
What do you do for kids?
Your kids are important to us, so we have created a space for them to learn about Jesus in a way that's right for them. Every Sunday, all kids (babies-6th grade) are taught the Bible in fun and interactive ways.
If this is your kid's first time to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, stop by our Welcome Center through the doors under the covered driveway on the northwest side of the main campus.
For those attending the Worship Service in The Center, Oakland Heights offers a limited nursery for kids ages 3 and under. This care group is located right next to our worship space for your convenience.
What should I wear?
Don't feel like you have to dress up. Most people wear casual attire, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
